Girls Junior Varsity Softball, Girls Varsity Softball · Kristen Sampson Signs with Mineral Area College


Kristen Sampson signed to play Softball with Mineral Area College on Thursday, December 2. Sampson is a three year Varsity Letter winner and she was awarded 2nd Team Infielder from both the JCAA All-Conference Awards and MHSFCA All-District Awards for the 2016 season. Sampson has been a valuable player to the DHS softball team. Her team won the State Championship in 2014, she has had two final four appearances, and four Class 3 District 2 Championships. Sampson, along with the rest of the senior softball players, has a career record of 90-26. Mineral Area Had Coach, Dave Guemmer,and JEFFCO XPRESS Softball Coach, Scott Charleville, were both present for the signing and are eager to welcome Sampson to the college.
