On Friday, February 12th Kiley Roth signed her NAIA Letter of Intent to continue her athletic and academic career at Missouri Baptist University. As a Spartan, Kiley will study nursing while being on the Missouri Baptist University cheer squad. While at DHS, Kiley has been a busy student-athlete. In the fall she not only cheered at Friday night varsity football games, but she was also a key contributor to the varsity volleyball team. Additionally, Kiley is a member of the wrestling cheer squad. Aside from being involved in cheerleading and volleyball, Kiley is a part of the De Soto High School student council, tennis team, and spirit club. When asked to reflect on her experiences as a Dragon student-athlete, Roth stated, “my favorite part about being a DHS student-athlete are the relationships I have made along the way…. it is something that I will always cherish”. As Roth looks to the next chapter, what Kiley looks forward to most about college is “continuing to be a cheerleader and meeting new people”. The Activities Department at De Soto High School would like to thank Kiley for her dedication to our school these past four years and congratulate her on this incredible achievement. We at DHS are extremely proud of Kiley and are excited for the bright future that she has.
